he needs an accompanying illustration

this is my buddy Brock.

Brock wrote a liturgy for ordering coffee at his local coffee shop.

Brock wants a piece of art representative of his writing.

i decided to limit myself to approximately 6 hours for this project.

after analyzing Brock’s writing, pulling key words and phrases from it, researching coffee and current trends, and doing a little sketching, i decided on hand-carving and then digitizing a linolium stamp that included an image representative of the shop and text in Koine Greek that translates to “all nations” as a nod to the name and meaning behind the shop.
